Youth Soccer Technical II pathway

TEchnical II Soccer at-home Schedule

Duration: 8 Weeks
Frequency: 1–3 Sessions per week (recommended: 1x for club players, 2–3x for non-club players)
Session Length: 60 minutes (individuals & small groups)

The Technical II Pathway prepares young athletes for the intensity, speed, and tactical challenges of competitive soccer.

This 8-week program is for U10 to U16 who are ready for high-level skill development and game readiness.

Technical II Level Soccer Training for Kids

The player enters a whole new world of complexity with drills that bring out actions (simulating real match scenarios & skill refinement moments). Every drill simulates game situations, teaching players how to react quickly, move intelligently, and execute with speed. Your child will improve skills and be prepared and confident when the game gets faster and tougher.

Attacking Transitions (group)

Small group attacking transitions. 

Passsing & Receiving

Passing & Receiving (1 on 1)

In this session we will layer in more information about checks, opening up, and making quick, in tempo decisions while in a passing circuit.

Playing with disguise

Playing with Disguise (1 on 1)

Reverse passes. Eyes, arms, hips. Use the body, lifting the eyes, and hip positioning. Working on disguised passes & touches.

Ball manipulation & passing

Ball Manipulation (1 on 1)

Technical proficiency, clean passing, hook turns, and other tight space movements. 

Technical development 1

Technical Development 1 (1 on 1)

Passing & receiving. Creating angles, creating space, passing detail.

Technical Development 1 (group)

Weight and accuracy of passes, quality of first touch when receiving, checking shoulders when receiving. Communication techniques.

One-to-One Attacking

Attacking

Setting ourselves up for the 1v1, how to beat a defender, and better decision making in those 1v1 moments. Strength, skill, change of speed, change of direction.

Technical development 2 (group)

Scanning, receiving, explosive movements. Figure 8 passing, quality and weight of passes.

Completion & Rewards

After 8 weeks of completion, players earn an Technical II Pathway Headband as recognition for mastering our technicall workouts. 🎖️

They will then move into the Positional Mastery Pathway, where training gets tailored to their future role on the field.

Positional Mastery program also includes progression rewards (headbands for completion).
